IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division closed the fourth season of students’ construction crews. This year, ten members of the crew "Energetik" - students of the "Electricity Supply" department of the South-Western State University (SWSU) worked at the enterprise.
The main work of the members of the students’ construction crew was taking readings of electricity meters. For a month, together with specialists from Kursky Distribution Zone, they conducted 2,300 checks of private sector customers. The leisure program was also full: in particular, the young people visited the substation "Rudnaya", one of the most high-tech power facilities in the region, feeding the residential sector and a number of large enterprises in the city of Zheleznogorsk, and also visited the house-museum of the composer Georgy Sviridov in the city of Fatezh. At the end of the work shift the students prepared a thematic wall newspaper, which was transferred to the museum of the history of the Kursk energy.
"During the working season we learned not only to work in a team, but also got an idea about the profession that we plan to devote our lives to," underlined, summing up the working season, the leader of the crew "Energetik" Andrey Kanunnikov.
