Tverenergo reminds debtors of criminal liability for non-enforcement of a court decision

23.08.2017

In the first half of 2017 the courts of the Tver region satisfied 190 claims of IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division to collect receivables accumulated by consumers in different periods. The total amount of claims with a positive decision is 366.8 million rubles.

Despite the legitimate claims of the power engineers, a number of consumers continue to ignore the requirements for debt repayment. The Tver branch of IDGC of Centre draws attention to the fact that for non-fulfillment of the court decision that came into force in accordance with Article 315 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, criminal liability is provided. In this connection, the practice of applying to the law enforcement bodies was launched in Tverenergo. In July-August of the current year, the power company has already sent 7 applications to initiate criminal cases against persons who ignore the decisions of the courts.

IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division reminds consumers about the need to observe payment terms for electricity and services for its transmission! Violation of the terms of payment entails the imposition of penalties in the amount of up to 1/130 of the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for each day of delay or 25.3% per annum. In addition, the violation of payment discipline creates a threat to the stable and reliable operation of power grid facilities of the Tver region in the autumn-winter period of 2017-2018.
