Bryanskenergo closed the fourth season of work of construction crews

IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division closed the fourth season of students’ construction crews. This year, twenty participants of the construction crews "Short Circuit Team" and "Energet", formed from students of power engineering universities, worked at the enterprise’s facilities.

The fourth season of construction crews was held in Bryanskenergo from 3 July to 15 August. During this time, the students of the Smolensk branch of the NRU "MPEI" and the Bryansk State Agrarian University mastered the power engineering profession at facilities of the branch: under the guidance of the enterprise’s specialists, they took readings from electricity meters, labelled energy facilities, took part in repair work in Vygonichsky, Bryansky, Mglinsky, Dyatkovsky and Karachevsky Distribution Zones. Heads of departments conducted excursions for students to key energy facilities, which are the main feeding centres for district consumers, told them about the work of operators’ centres.

The members of the construction crews also participated in electrical safety classes, which the power engineers conduct in children’s summer health camps. And in the framework of events timed to the Year of Ecology, and the campaign of IDGC of Centre "Green Distribution Zone" hanged houses for birds in the Distribution Zones. At the end of the work shift, the students played laser tag and an intellectual game. The head of the HR office Anna Gribova handed them employment record books and wished them success in their studies and employment.

"Working at Bryanskenergo allowed me to practice the knowledge I received during my studies. At first, I was a bit lost at the performance of the mentors’ tasks, but their support and advice allowed me to cope with the excitement," says Sergey Sitnikov, the leader of the crew "Short Circuit Team". "Every day I learned something new. I was convinced that a friendly team of professionals works at Bryanskenergo. I am even a little sorry that the season of construction crews - 2017 so quickly ended."
