IDGC of Centre – Bryanskenergo division summed up the work on training of personnel in the first half of 2017. During the reporting period, 543 employees passed training, which is 28% of the number of employees of the branch. About 2.5 million rubles were allocated for these purposes.

Power engineers from all production divisions of the enterprise received the opportunity to undergo professional training and to improve qualification: representatives of working professions learned related occupations, employees of the categories "managers" and "specialists" upgraded their qualifications in the Training Centre of Rostekhnadzor in Moscow, and passed professional re-training at NRU MPEI in Smolensk.

The main part of the staff increased their qualifications for working professions in a training class based on the branch. Some of the employees were trained in educational institutions with which the enterprise had strong business relationships over long years of cooperation: the institutes of advanced training: "PEIPK" in St. Petersburg, "Ivanovo Power Engineering University after Lenin" in Ivanovo, NP "Stavropol Training Centre in Essentuki", Training Centre of Rostekhnadzor in Moscow, Training Centre "Elektrotekhnika" in Voronezh, ANCO "Promtekhstroy" in Bryansk and others.

For many years, Bryanskenergo has been closely cooperating with the Smolensk branch of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, where power engineers of the branch undergo professional retraining in the area "Electric Power Systems and Grids". Now the sixth group is studying there, which will finish the training course in June next year.

Since 2013, employer-sponsored students from Bryanskenergo, who study there in the full-time department for energy specialties, receive practical training: they have to practice at energy facilities of Bryanskenergo, and the best of them participate in students’ construction crews. For most of them - the branch becomes the place of work of building their professional career.

According to the head of the HR office Anna Gribova, the company is focused on the continuous process of training its employees. To do this, the branch has all the conditions. New knowledge and professional skills acquired by power engineers in the process of training are one of the main conditions for the high professionalism of the staff, this positively affects the provision of uninterrupted power supply to consumers in the Bryansk region.
