IDGC of Centre – Lipetskenergo division held a meeting of the Managing Board, chaired by the director Alexander Glebov. It was attended by employees of the executive office of the enterprise and chiefs of Distribution Zones. They discussed the achievement of targets to reduce electricity losses in the first half of 2017, the implementation of labour protection rules, methods for preventing injuries and compliance with production discipline, reliability and quality, as well as losses of electricity.
Opening the meeting, Alexander Glebov reminded all those present that safety, health and life of employees are priority tasks for the company. The main efforts in this area should be aimed at preventing injuries of own personnel. In addition, the head of Lipetskenergo pointed to the need to tighten the personal responsibility of the chiefs of Distribution Zones in case of unsatisfactory work in the field of industrial safety, production control and labour protection and safety.
Chief Engineer of the branch Vladimir Tikhonov in his speech emphasized the importance of the indicator of the failure rate of electric grids and the increase in the efficiency of the formation of production programs for Distribution Zones. Valery Basalaev, Deputy Director for Sale and Development of Services, made a report on the analysis of the achievement of targets for reducing losses in the 0.4-10 kV distribution grid for the first half of 2017. He reminded all the chiefs of the Distribution Zones that clearing ROWs is daily work, he noted that the leaders of IDGC of Centre – Lipetskenergo division tasked all the Distribution Zones by the end of 2017 to reduce losses in the 0.4-10 kV grid to the target level.
"The indicator "Loss of electric energy" at the current moment is a priority. There are Distribution Zones, which today have achieved the required result, but a number of districts still do not show positive changes. All the chiefs of the distribution grids are instructed to take this direction under personal control. Achieving the targets for reducing losses is now the number one task, and it must be done," commented Alexander Glebov, Director of IDGC of Centre – Lipetskenergo division.
In addition, the results of the work carried out to identify the theft of electricity were announced. Over the first half of 2017, more than 900 acts were drawn up on non-metered electricity consumption.
The meeting of the Managing Board also considered issues of grid connection, correctness of drawing up acts of non-metered and non-contractual electricity consumption, clearing and expansion of ROWs. Particular attention was paid to labour protection and workplace inspection, prevention of injuries and compliance with production discipline.
"Meetings of the Managing Board are held in Lipetskenergo once a quarter for the past four years. Such measures allow to involve the chiefs of Distribution Zones into the process of development and adoption of managerial decisions aimed at fulfilling production targets and achieving the target indicators of the branch," notes Alexander Glebov, Director of Lipetskenergo.
