IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division summed up the results of the investment program for the first half of 2017. In total, in the specified period the enterprise spent 997.013 million rubles (including VAT) on the development and modernization of the power grid complex. 16.8 MVA of new transformer capacity and 356.8 km of new and reconstructed power lines of 0.4-110 kV were put into operation.
155 km of lines were reconstructed as part of the technical re-equipment of the end-of-life grids. 49 km of power lines were constructed to connect sites of private developers in accordance with the approved by the government of the region list of measures for sites of engineering development of micro-districts of individual housing construction. Both programs are fulfilled at 60% of the plan of the year.
The complex reconstruction of two of the seven major feeding centres of 35-110 kV planned for 2017 has been completed: the substations "Pushkarnaya" in Stary Oskol and "Belyanka" in Shebekinsky district. The "Pushkarnaya" substation is equipped with new equipment and technological systems, modern remote control is installed, which allows monitoring the operation of the facility online. The capacity of the "Belyanka" substation was increased from 6.5 to 8 MVA after the reconstruction. This will be sufficient for grid connection of another poultry farm and an incubation shop of LLC "Belyanka" with an aggregate capacity of more than 2 MVA, which is planned for the near future. Work at both feeding centres was conducted as part of the program to improve the reliability of the power grid complex of the Belgorod region.
In addition, the second stage of the reconstruction of the "Malinovka" substation in Rakityansky district is approaching the completion stage, with an increase in its installed capacity from 20 to 32 MVA and conversion to 110 kV. This will fully meet the demands of "BEZRK-Belgrankorm" Holding and will create an additional opportunity to connect new customers. Currently, the facility is being prepared for commissioning.
By the end of the year, Belgorodenergo plans to complete several more major projects within the approved annual investment program, including the reconstruction and inter-redundancy of adjacent 35-110 kV substations "Murom" and "New Tavolzhanka" in Shebekinsky district. Additional modernization of these and two other feeding centres - "Shebekino" and "Cheremoshnoye" - will provide reliable power supply to more than 34 thousand consumers of Shebekinsky district and facilities of large enterprises of the agro-industrial complex: Agrarian and Industrial Holding "BEZRK Belgrankorm, CJSC "White Bird", OJSC "Belgorod Bacon" etc. The total volume of transformer capacity commissioned by the branch in 2017 is projected to be 131 MVA.
