Kurskenergo’s specialists in the first half of the year repaired more than 1,600 km of power lines

IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division summed up the performance of the repair program for 6 months of 2017.

During this period, Kurskenergo’s specialists repaired 249.3 km of overhead lines of 35-110 kV and over 1.35 thousand km of lines of 10-0.4 kV. In the framework of this work, about 162.3 km of wire was replaced, 1,995 new poles and 10,198 insulators were installed.

The overhaul of two 35 kV substations was completed: "Belitsa", which is the key source of power supply for the social infrastructure of the village of Belitsa in Belovsky district, and "Irrigation", feeding water wells in settlements of Kursky district. 211 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV were repaired. More than 615 hectares of ROWs along overhead lines were cleared from tree and shrub vegetation.

In total, within the framework of the repair program of 2017, Kurskenergo’s specialists plan to carry out a comprehensive repair of 23 substations of 35-110 kV, repair 416 transformer substations of 0.4-10 kV and about 2,509 km of power lines of 0.4-110 kV; to clear 850.1 ha of ROWs along overhead lines. Over 217.73 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes.

The power engineers plan to complete the main activities of the repair program by the end of September 2017.
