IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division summed up the results of the implementation of the repair program for six months of 2017. All the measures outlined by the document for this period were fully implemented. 110 transformer substations (TS) of 6-10 kV, 85 transformers of 10/0.4 kV and 295.13 km of overhead lines (conductors) of 0.4-110 kV were repaired. More than 241 hectares of ROWs of overhead lines were cleared from tree and shrub vegetation. Complex repair of the 35/10kV substations "Starotomnikovskaya" and "Tugolukovskaya" has been started.
In total in 2017, Tambov power engineers plan to repair more than 763.8 kilometres of overhead lines and 134 transformer substations, to perform comprehensive repairs of four 35-110 kV substations, and to clear 469.4 hectares of ROWs of overhead lines. The main volume of repair work will be completed by 1 October.
"The implementation of the repair program will ensure the reliability of power supply to consumers in the Tambov region, improve the quality of electricity transmission, as well as prepare the electricity grid of the region for the autumn-winter operation period of 2017-2018," stressed First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division Igor Polyakov.
