Employees of Kostromaenergo pass GTO standards

Employees of IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division started passing the standards of the All-Russian physical culture and sports standards "Ready for work and defense" (GTO). Its first stage was held on the site of Youth Sports School № 5 of the city of Kostroma and included 5 sports for men and women: long-distance running, long jumps, bending body, abdominal exercises, pull-ups, push-ups and pushing weights. Correctness of the tasks was assessed by professional judges of the GTO testing centre - trainers of Youth Sports School №5. The opportunity to pass the standards were used by 17 employees of the enterprise.

Passing the GTO standards in the Kostromaenergo branch was made after the annual Sports Games of IDGC of Centre, in the program of which a part of the standards was included. Thus, the employees of the branch who participated in the Sports Games had the opportunity to fulfill the remaining standards. And the colleagues, who have joined them, in the near future will soon be able to complete the "Sports Games" standards for swimming at 50 metres, running for 100 metres, throwing exercises and shooting with an electronic weapon. The results of the power engineers will be posted on the GTO’s official website, after reviewing them the central GTO commission will decide on awarding them with insignia.
