IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division summed up the work on connection of consumers to electric grids for 6 months of 2017. In the reporting period, the branch received 1,359 applications for grid connection, 1,127 contracts were concluded. A total of 954 contracts were executed with a total connected capacity of over 17.5 MW.
One of the large grid connection facilities of Kurskenergo in the first half of the year is a complex for growing champignons "Mushroom rainbow" in Kursky district. The company, according to plans, will produce 4,000-12,000 tons of mushroom products per year, providing it the Kursk region and other regions of the Black Soil Region. Within the grid connection contract of facilities of "Mushroom rainbow", Kurskenergo’s specialists constructed 15.5 km of 10 kV power lines.
In Kursk the power engineers connected a construction site of LLC "Instep" to the grid. To provide power supply for an apartment building under construction, they reconstructed 10 kV line bays, a 10/0.4 kV transformer substation, laid two 10 kV cable lines.
Also in the first half of the year, Kurskenergo’s specialists prepared the conditions for connecting to the grid of a new school in the settlement of Medvenka in Medvensky district for 650 training places: they constructed a 10 kV power line section with a length of 0.65 km and a substation with two transformers rated at 400 kVA each.
In fulfilling its obligations to connect production and social facilities to power grids in a timely manner, Kurskenergo makes a significant contribution to the social and economic development of the region.
