IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division successfully works to recover accounts receivable. The branch conducts active claim-related work: sends notice-claims to debtors, conducts recovery in court. For the first half of 2017 the enterprise sent 196 lawsuits to the courts of various instances for a total of 107 million rubles. In the same period, the courts considered 99 applications for the recovery of 9 million rubles of arrears for electricity sold to consumers during the period of performing the functions of the supplier of last resort and 60 applications for recovery of 68 million rubles of arrears arising from other types of economic activities of the enterprise. 132 lawsuits were satisfied in the amount of 50 million rubles.
More than 30 million rubles have already been recovered as a result of effective interaction of specialists of the legal unit of the enterprise with bailiffs-executors.
Smolenskenergo is interested in improving the situation with the payment discipline of consumers, since the presence of receivables makes it difficult to fulfill the obligations to ensure reliable electricity supply in the region, has a negative impact on the implementation of production plans of the power company, which can directly affect the reliability of electricity supply to inhabitants of the region. The branch spends the received funds from the provision of electricity transmission services for repair and modernization of grids and power facilities of the region.
Smolenskenergo aspires to full repayment of overdue debts in the shortest possible time.
