Last week more than two hundred children became participants of electrical safety classes conducted by Orelenergo

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division last week conducted electrical safety classes in the children’s health summer camps "Dream" in Orlovsky district and "Fir Tree" in Bolkhovsky district. More than two hundred children took part in them.

The power engineers told the children about the basic rules of electrical safety, explained why games near power lines and transformer substations could threaten life and health, clarified the importance of warning signs installed on power facilities.

The children watched themed cartoons and received appropriate memos. To help the participants of the lesson imagine the work of electricians, the specialists of Orelenergo demonstrated and allowed to try on their equipment: protective helmets, heat resistant suits, dielectric gloves and boots.

After the lecture, the children got an opportunity to ride an electric car of IDGC of Centre. The power engineers handed branded pens and notebooks, the smallest - thematic colouring books "The Adventures of Professor Lampochkin" to the most active participants of the lesson.

Orelenergo conducts electrical safety classes on a regular basis. In recent weeks such events have taken place in the children’s health camps "Orlovchanka", "Pine Forest" and "Sunny". In the last two months, over six hundred children took part in them. In August, the power engineers plan to conduct another thirty such classes.
