About two thousand schoolchildren became participants of electrical safety lessons of Kurskenergo since the beginning of the summer

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division continue to conduct electrical safety lessons in health camps in the Kursk region. Since the beginning of the summer more than two thousand children have taken part in them, including one and a half thousand in July.

In the second summer month, the power engineers held most of the classes in children’s school camps with a day’s stay. Lessons already passed in the camps of secondary schools of Timsky, Glushkovsky, Sudzhansky, Konyshevsky, Manturovsky, Schigrovsky and Rylsky districts. The schoolchildren learned why it is allowed to play near electrical installations, to approach broken wires and transformer substations, to equip places for rest and to set up fires near power lines. The lessons were accompanied by a demonstration of visual materials and videos.

Until the end of the summer, Kurskenergo’s specialists plan to hold seven more electrical safety lessons in the children’s health camps of the region.
