More than one hundred power engineers took part in the II Tourist Gathering of teams of IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division, which last weekend was held in Torzhok district of the Tver region. All production bases of the branch were presented at the competitions, employees competed in dexterity, endurance and speed. On the basis of the results of two days, the best were power engineers from Rzhevsky Production Base.
The idea of holding a tourist gathering belongs to the Youth Council of Tverenergo. Last year, it got support from the management of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre and the primary trade union organization of Tverenergo. "This year it was decided to hold the tourist gathering in July, in the middle of summer. The preparation began long, the guidelines were developed, the issues of the participants’ everyday life, their security and, most importantly, activities were decided," said Sergey Aksakov, the chairman of the primary trade union organization of Tverenergo. "The active members of the Youth Council prepared a rich program, nobody was bored."
The participants arrived on Friday. Each of the seven production bases of the branch (PB) - Kimrsky, Nelidovsky, Vyshnevolotsky, Torzhoksky (winners of the I Tourist Gathering of Tverenergo), Rzhevsky, Tversky, Bezhetsky deployed their tent camps. At the same time, the organizers assessed cleanliness, fire safety, field kitchen. Points scored for living conditions were included in the overall team rating.
Saturday morning began with fishing. The biggest catch was brought to his team by Sergey Artemov, a master of a crew of Udomelsky Distribution Zone, who came as a member of the team of Vyshnevolotsky PB. He caught 72 fish, for which they received a special award following the results of the tourist gathering.
After morning exercises and breakfast at a general line-up, the teams presented their business cards. The representatives of Tversky and Bezhetskaya PBs were the most original, sharing the first place for this stage.
In solemn atmosphere, as a sign of the opening of the tourist rally, IDGC of Centre’s flag was raised. "The initiative of the young power engineers - to collect the team in this format helps employees from different departments, from different districts of the region to get to know each other better, build partnerships, and establish mutual assistance. Making understand that we all ultimately "play" for one team, the friendly team of Tverenergo! I hope that every year the Tourist Gathering of power engineers will grow, become larger and more interesting. I wish all the participants an excellent mood and, of course, victories," Ekaterina Terekhina, the head of the HR office of IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division, welcomed the participants.
Saturday was the main competitive day. The teams passed the stage with tourist equipment, competed in kayaks and participated in sports orienteering. The day ended with the creative stage of the tourist rally, at which Rzhevsky PB took the prize for the best performance.
On Sunday, the chairman of Tverenergo’s Youth Council, the head of the metrology and power quality department - the chief metrologist of IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division, Vladimir Gorlanov, summed up the results with a closing speech. He thanked all the participants for the fact that, despite busy working days, they spent their weekend with the team. "Active sports allow you to keep yourselves in good shape, and thoughts are put in order. I hope our Tourist Gathering has become useful to you, be sure to come next year!" he said.
According to the results of the tourist rally in the general team event, the power engineers of Rzhevsky PB won. The prize for the second place was taken by the employees of Tversky PB, the third place went to the specialists of Kimrsky PB. The participants of the teams, as well as the winners in the nominations received memorable prizes and diplomas with the symbols of the tourist rally.
