IDGC of Centre – Bryanskenergo division held a meeting of young employees, organized by the Youth Council of the enterprise, the HR department and the primary trade union organization. It was attended by representatives of Distribution Zones and structural units of the branch.
The meeting was opened by the head of the HR department Anna Gribova and the chair of the trade union of the branch Yulia Ermakova. They reminded the participants of the measures of social support for young specialists stipulated by the collective agreement of IDGC of Centre and told them about educational programs in which representatives of Bryanskenergo’s youth can take part.
The chair of the youth organization Olga Bobkova introduced the participants of the meeting to the results of the work of the Council in 2015-2016. She said that during the reporting period the members of the youth organization took an active part in the majority of cultural events and social actions held in the branch. In particular, it is about the celebration of the Victory Day, and the Power Engineers’ Day, corporate shows of amateur performances and KVN, the Donor’s Day. During the event, a new composition of the Youth Council, headed by Chairman Roman Polyakov, was also elected.
The second part of the meeting was practical. The young specialists took part in trainings aimed at identifying employees with leadership qualities for inclusion in the personnel reserve of Bryanskenergo. And then the members of the crew of the branch, which took the second place this year in the competitions of professional skills of IDGC of Centre, demonstrated to them in the exchange of experience ways of rendering first aid to the victim, as well as professional skills necessary for repair work at power facilities.
"Such events are very useful. They help involve young employees in the public life of the enterprise, promote team building and rallying, which ultimately positively affects the results of production activities," Roman Polyakov, the newly elected chairman of Bryanskenergo’s Youth Council, said after the meeting.
