IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division held the grand opening of the fourth season of students’ construction crews of the power grid complex. The event was attended by members of the "Energetik" construction crew, which included students from the Southwestern State University (SWSU), leaders of Kurskenergo and the SWSU, representatives of the Veterans’ Council and the Youth Council of the branch.
Speaking with a word of instructions, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky stressed: "The construction crew is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of the profession from the inside, this is an important stage in becoming you as future specialists." The head of the enterprise reminded the future power engineers about the need to strictly observe job descriptions and rules of electrical safety, and wished them success.
The commander of the construction crew "Energetik"-2016 Nikita Serzhevsky gave start of the labour season. According to the tradition, he handed over to the current commander Andrey Kanunnikov a helmet received from the hands of Director General of PJSC "Rosseti" Oleg Budargin in 2014 at the close of the season of the students’ construction crews of the power grid complex in the Crimea. The event ended with a musical gift: Andrey Kanunnikov, along with his construction crew, sang a song of his own composition.
The students started working after the introductory and initial briefings on labour protection and fire safety, as well as familiarization with the rules of internal labour regulations. All July, under the guidance of experienced professionals, they will comprehend the basics of the profession at the branch’s facilities. In addition to gaining practical professional experience, the "Energetik" members will develop creative skills in the framework of contests for the best photo work, the best construction crew song, as well as the best construction crew of the power grid complex. In addition, the young people are waiting for a rich cultural program.
