28.06.2017

In connection with the onset of summer holidays, employees of Distribution Zones of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division continue work on promoting electrical safety for children and adolescents.

Since the beginning of June, lessons on prevention of children’s electric injuries have been held in seven districts of the Lipetsk region. Employees Zadonsky Distribution Zone held a conversation with senior high school pupils. Representatives of Lebedyansky Distribution Zone divided the lecture material into two age groups and conducted lessons in the school camp for children of grades 1-5 and 6-11. Specialists of Usmansky Distribution Zone visited with thematic classes children of the country camp "Kolosok". In total, more than 200 children took part in the electrical safety lessons.

IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division appeals to teachers and parents: in order to avoid accidents from electric shock, it is necessary for every child to know and follow the basic rules of electrical safety at school, at home and in the street!

It is strictly forbidden to climb poles of overhead power lines, roofs of wagons, houses and buildings where electrical wires pass close, to break down lamps, insulators, to run a kite near wires, to play under overhead power lines, and also to penetrate into transformer substations or behind a fence of electric substations and transformers, open doors of switchboards and other electrical devices in entrances, basements and attics.

"Specialists of Lipetskenergo continue to conduct information and educational work throughout the territory of the Lipetsk region. You can invite power engineers to conduct an electrical safety lesson by calling the public relations department of the branch at 8 (4742) 228-085 or 8 (4742) 228-340," informed the acting head of the department Elena Loginova.
