80 children of employees of IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division became participants of the specialized shift "Time of your opportunities" in the Sports and Recreation Centre named after V. Tereshkova. The children received this opportunity within the framework of the collective agreement operating in IDGC of Centre, and thanks to the close cooperation of power engineers with the administrations of the Kursk region, the city of Kursk and the Kursk regional committee "Electroprofsoyuz".
The wellness centre is located in a picturesque place near the settlement of Mokva. Here all necessary conditions for a full-fledged children’s holiday are created: creative associations are in operation, a climbing wall and hinged ferries are equipped. The shift for children of employees of energy companies of the Kursk region opened in the centre on 5 June. Many interesting events have been prepared for its participants: hikes, drawings and poetry contests, sports competitions among teams, meetings with veterans of energy, discos.
One of the days in the camp will be held by representatives of trade unions of energy enterprises. Activists of the trade union committee of Kurskenergo will acquaint the participants of the shift with the rules of electrical safety, show thematic videos, give each a memo with the basic rules of behaviour near power facilities.
Organization of summer holidays for employees and their families is one of the important areas of social policy of IDGC of Centre. In June-August, 180 employees of the Kursk branch of the company will be able to rest on the sea, more than 160 workers will improve their health in sanatoria and rest homes within the framework of a health insurance agreement.
