IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division held traditional spring clean-up events, organized in the framework of the Green Distribution Zone program, implemented by the company in the Year of Ecology in Russia.
In all Distribution Zones and in Tambov the energy company carried out measures for beautification and landscaping: cleared of debris the territories adjacent to facilities of the enterprise, painted curbs, renewed flower beds and green spaces. Similar work was carried out in the villages of Kovylka in Kirsanovsky district and Novonikolskoye in Michurinsky district at the memorials to those who fell on the battlefields during the Great Patriotic War, and at the memorable sign to the first inventor of the incandescent lamp, Alexander Lodygin, in his native village of Stenshino in Petrovsky district.
In addition, during the implementation of the "Green Distribution Zone" program, the employees of Tambovenergo landscaped the territory of the sponsored "Boarding school for pupils with disabilities" in the village of Krasnenkaya in Tambovsky district.
The energy company will continue implementing the measures for improvement within the framework of the project "Green Distribution Zone" during the summer period.
