Providing uninterrupted power supply to points of taking the Unified State Exam (USE) in the Smolensk region for specialists of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division is an important task. To conduct the main stage of the state final certification, about 50 points of examinations were prepared, equipped with a video surveillance system that broadcasts what is happening in the classrooms online. Each of the USE points are assigned with first responding and repair crews of Smolenskenergo, staff on duty for timely response to abnormal situations.
The power company has already conducted additional equipment survey, involved in the power supply of each examination point, conducted unscheduled inspections of transformer substations and power lines, identified power supply centres for educational institutions, scheduled work will be suspended for the duration of the USE, which may lead to a decrease in the reliability of power supply for the examination points. On the days of the USE, available reserve power supply sources will allow promptly to restore the supply of electricity to the examination points in cases of unforeseen technological irregularities.
In total, 4,214 people were admitted to the USE in the main period in the Smolensk region, who will begin taking exams on 29 May 2017. The main stage of the Unified State Exam will last until 29 June.
