This year Smolenskenergo plans to spend about 190 million rubles on repair of electric grid equipment

24.05.2017

The planned amount of financing of the repair program of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division in 2017 will be 188.92 million rubles. At the same time, Smolenskenergo will carry out more than 61% of the repair program by own forces (with its own personnel, without involvement of contractors), which will reduce operational costs and maintain planned physical repairs.

In the current year, the energy company will repair 2,144.4 thousand km of power lines of all voltage classes and 676 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV. Work on clearing ROWs from tree and shrub vegetation will be conducted on an area of 1,377.09 hectares. In addition, work is planned to expand ROWs of 6-110 kV overhead lines in the volume of 560 hectares.

The repair campaign has already begun, but the peak of repair work will be at the end of the second and third quarters of the year. Implementation of the repair program of the branch is aimed at ensuring the operability of lines and substations, trouble-free operation through the autumn-winter period and the overall increase in the reliability of power grid facilities in the region. When carrying out the planned work at power facilities, Smolensk power engineers of IDGC of Centre use modern technologies and materials, which increases the service life of equipment and reduces the cost of planned repairs.
