Power engineers of Stanovlyansky Distribution Zone became the best in the competitions of professional skills of "Lipetskenergo"

The closing ceremony ended the professional skills competition of crews for repair and maintenance of 0.4-10 kV distribution grids of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division. The team of Stanovlyansky Distribution Zone won the title of the best crew for repair and maintenance of distribution grids. It scored 1,509 points out of 1,580 possible. Representatives of Usmansky Distribution Zone took home the "silver" of the competition, their result is 1,505 points. The crew of Terbunsky Distribution Zone rose to the third stage of the pedestal, it scored 1,491 points.

Six teams of Distribution Zones of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division competed at the same time at the training centre of Zadonsk Polytechnic College. The program of the competitions included eight stages, during which the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of operating and repair personnel were assessed. The teams demonstrated their skills of rendering first aid on the dummy-simulator "Gosha". The participants of the professional skills competitions were also to release the conditionally injured with electric shock at a 10/0.4 kV transformer substation, to connect a residential house from an operating overhead line with the hydraulic lift, to perform the maintenance of a 10 kV disconnector, to replace a defective 10 kV insulator at a substation, put out the fire in an electrical installation, etc. The composition of the judges’ crews included managers and specialists of specialized offices and departments of Lipetskenergo.

"The teams competed in difficult conditions, which, nevertheless, constantly accompany the work of power engineers. At the same time, each crew put maximum efforts at the stages, fully demonstrating the skills of coherent and effective work. Some errors, which are always inevitable in such reviews of professional skills, were the result of excessive excitement. At the same time, we see that when there is mutual understanding and support in the crew, this cannot but affect the final results," commented Alexander Glebov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division director.

Further Alexander Glebov noted: "the team of the winners pleasantly surprised with their high results. At the most stages, the Stanovliansky Distribution Zone team quickly and easily coped with the tasks and scored the maximum number of points. This is a good start for the team and a high bar for colleagues."
