Lipetskenergo’s employees took part in the Conference dedicated to the World Day for Safety

Lipetskenergo’s employees took part in the Conference dedicated to the World Day for Safety on the theme: "Comprehensive safety systems for working at height. Modern rescue and evacuation systems". The event was held jointly with the CPE Association "Safety Centre of Lipetsk Region" and LLC "Technoavia".

The main goal of the Conference was to familiarize the heads of specialists of large and small enterprises with the capabilities of modern safety systems while working at altitude. Practical aspects of the application of the safety rules while working at height, approved by Order of the Ministry of Labour of Russia dated 28 March 2014 No. 155 were considered.

In the second part of the conference, a practical master class was held with the participation of industrial climbers (climbing poles from reinforced concrete and metal structures, work on scaffolding, work in wells, evacuation gear).

"The necessary conditions for safe operation are strict compliance with the requirements of the safety regulations, good theoretical and excellent practical training of personnel, conscious discipline and responsibility in all parts of the enterprise, of course, constant monitoring. We are glad that we have an opportunity to get acquainted with innovative safety systems when working at altitude. It is for this purpose that we are attending such a conference," commented Maxim Yashin, Deputy Chief Engineer-head of the industrial safety and production control department of Lipetskenergo.
