Employees of Tambovenergo before the Victory Day landscaped the territory of the memorial of the heroes-front-line soldiers

Employees of IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division on the eve of the 72nd anniversary of the Great Victory carried out the improvement of the territory of the memorial to the fallen at battlefields during the Great Patriotic War, set up in the village of Kovylka in Kirsanovsky district of the Tambov region.

Power engineers of Kirsanovsky and Inzhavinsky Distribution Zones of the branch and representatives of the Youth Council involved in the work arranged the territory adjacent to the monument, sawed old trees, planted 90 ornamental shrubs. In addition, they renovated the inscriptions on the monument, the covering of the stela and the busts of the front-line soldiers, erected there, who were natives: the only one among residents of the village of Kovylka full Cavalier of the Order of Glory Mikhail Abramov and Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Surov.

The memorial was erected in 2011 on the initiative of the son of Mikhail Abramov, the head of the integrated management systems department of Tambovenergo Alexander Abramov, with charitable funds and with the active assistance of Tambovenergo’s employees, who took part in all types of work. Throughout these years, the power engineers continue to take care of the memorial site, help improve and maintain it properly.
