Within the framework of IDGC of Centre’s project "Green Distribution Zone" a social event took place in the branch "Tambovenergo", in which the company’s employees carried out the improvement of the territory of the sponsored "Boarding School for Learners with Disabilities" in the village of Krasnenkaya in Tambovsky district. The event was timed to the Year of Ecology, announced in Russia in 2017.
The management of the educational institution asked Vladimir Syschikov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division director, to help trim trees in the courtyard of the boarding school: heavy branches that grew beyond the permissible sizes of green plantations could break at any moment and cause injuries to others. The power engineers immediately responded to the appeal. A crew of specialists from Tambovsky Distribution Zone arrived at the boarding school, led by the master Artem Orlov, and trimmed the trees.
Director of the boarding school Nadezhda Dementieva thanked the power engineers for their help and support, as well as for their sensitivity, understanding and warm attitude towards the pupils.
The friendship of power engineers and learners of the educational institution lasts for more than twenty years. Employees of Tambovenergo regularly visit the boarding school, providing the necessary support to the institution and its pupils. So, on the eve of International Bird Day, which this year was celebrated on 1 April, the power engineers gave the children more than ten birdhouses, which they immediately installed with them in a birch alley in the boarding school.
