Within the framework of the Year of Ecology and the project of IDGC of Centre "Green Distribution Zone", employees of Krasninsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division carried out work on cleaning and improvement of the territory of the Distribution Zone.
IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division pays great attention to the issues of nature protection. The branch has its Environmental Policy Implementation Program, within which power engineers clean and landscape every year. Employees of Krasninsky Distribution Zone, armed with rakes, trash bags, shovels and brooms, cleared paths, removed old foliage and accumulated during the winter household rubbish, whitewashed trees. Cleaning took place in the territory of Krasninsky Distribution Zone and the surrounding area.
"The project "Green Distribution Zone" gives power engineers, as well as millions of Russians, the opportunity to take part in a careful attitude to nature, recharge themselves with positive emotions, make the world cleaner and brighter," commented Boris Dil, the chief of Krasninsky Distribution Zone.
As part of the Year of Ecology, Lipetsk power engineers of IDGC of Centre plan to conduct ecological clean-up events on the territory of each Distribution Zone, will pay attention to the improvement of the sponsored memorials to the Victory Day and the landscaping of the previously planted "Power Engineers’ Alleys".
