Employees of Belgorodenergo within the framework of IDGC of Centre's "Green Distribution Zone" project conducted a mass ecological clean-up on the territory of the future embankment of the Vezelka River, adjacent to the substation 110 kV "Zapadnaya". The coast is in the area of planned development, the concept of which has been recently presented to the city public.
For three days, from 4 to 6 April, more than 100 employees and veterans of IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division, 6 specialized vehicles in shifts worked in the territory of a total area of more than 1.5 hectares. With a mulcher and a crusher they removed thickets of the American maple, collected and removed three KamAZ trucks with garbage - a total of about 15 tons, the portals were painted at the substation itself, and in the near future it is planned to upgrade the equipment on the outgoing 110 kV transmission lines. Employees of Belgorod Distribution Zone within the clean-up repair and paint the facades of closed transformer substations located inside yard territories in a planned manner.
Until 8 April, the power engineers will make up the sanitary and environmental order at all repair and production bases and territories assigned to Distribution Zones in cities and districts of the region. An additional planting of trees, improvement of signature alleys, parks, monuments and graves of fallen soldiers is planned.
