Bryanskenergo conducts successful work on recovery of accounts receivable

10.03.2017

IDGC of Centre – Bryanskenergo division continues regular work aimed at reducing receivables for electricity transmission services. One of its most important components is claims and lawsuits.

In 2016 Bryanskenergo sent 418 lawsuits to courts of various instances for a total of 191,60 million rubles. During this period the courts satisfied 332 claims, including those filed earlier, for 137.34 million rubles. More than 256.77 million rubles were recovered as a result of effective interaction of experts of the legal unit of the enterprise with bailiffs.

Active work to reduce accounts receivable continued in 2017. Thus, in January-February Bryanskenergo sent 36 lawsuits to the courts for a total of 25.2 million rubles, of which 29 lawsuits in the amount of 6 million rubles to recover debts for electricity sold to consumers during the period of the branch’s performance of the functions of a supplier of last resort). 52 enforcement orders for a total amount of 31.8 million rubles were sent to the service of court bailiffs, banks, federal treasury bodies.

Actions of non-payers jeopardize the reliability of power supply to consumers in the Bryansk region, as the funds received by Bryanskenergo for the provision of electricity transmission services are spent, among other things, on production programs. Therefore, the enterprise will consistently continue its work to recover accounts receivable, using for this purpose all mechanisms provided by the current legislation.
