01.03.2017

IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division under the leadership of the director of the company Alexander Rudnevsky held a production meeting, in which chiefs of Distribution Zones, deputy directors, heads of departments and services of Kurskenergo participated. The event discussed the outcome of operations of the branch in 2016 and priority tasks facing them in 2017.

As noted in speakers’ reports, Kurskenergo, according to the results of the past year, succeeded implementing plans for key performance indicators. Consumers were supplied 5.493 billion kWh of electricity (at planned 5.167 billion kWh). Actual energy losses in electric grids of Kurskenergo decreased by 0.67% or by 17 million kWh from the approved plan.

The repair and maintenance program was fully implemented, aimed primarily at improving the reliability and quality of electricity supply to consumers. Specialists of the branch repaired more than 2,500 km of overhead power lines of 0.4-110 kV and 24 substations (SS) of 35-110 kV. To avoid technological breakdowns caused by falling trees and branches onto wires of overhead lines passing through forests, more than 900 hectares of ROWs along overhead lines of 0.4 - 110 kV were brought to their standards.

During the reporting period 2,453 grid connection contracts for a total capacity of 52.9 MW were executed. When considering the v issues, the meeting noted the importance of the implementation of contracts within the legally prescribed terms.

As shown by the results of last year, demand for value-added services of Kurskenergo increased. So, the plans for the sale of the services "Work related to the client’s competence in the implementation of grid connection procedures", "Operation and maintenance and repair of electric grids and electrical equipment" in monetary terms were performed at 187% (17.6 million rubles) and 175% (4.1 million rubles), respectively.

The meeting also touched upon the theme of the operation of Kurskenergo through current autumn-winter peak loads. The meeting noted that over the past months no accidents and major technological violations in the grids of the branch were recorded, and the average time of removal of small faults in the grid compared to the same period of the autumn-winter period of 2015 - 2016 (from 01.11.2015 to 02.16.2016) dropped to 1.94 from 3.26 hours. This was possible thanks to coordinated and professional work of experts of the branch, timely repair and maintenance of equipment.

The participants discussed priorities and challenges facing Kurskenergo in 2017. Among them there is preparation for autumn-winter peak loads of 2017-2018, implementation of investment and maintenance programs, further optimization of the procedure of connection of customers to power grids, reduction of losses, prevention of injury to third parties at facilities of the branch.
