15 February 2017 on the initiative of IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division a round table was held with business representatives on the grid connection to the branch networks. This is the first event in 2017, conducted in the framework of the Day of the entrepreneur. These activities will be carried out by the energy company on a quarterly basis.
The meeting with Smolenskenergo’s experts was attended by the head and representatives of the Smolensk regional branch of the All-Russian public organization "OPORA RUSSIA", chief power engineer of LLC "Concord", representatives of LLC "Metrum", PJSC "Rostelecom", LLC "Cameo", JSC "TransTelecom", LLC RPE "Basis stroy", LLC "Smoltelekom". The Administration of the Smolensk region was represented by Deputy Head of the Investment Development Department Stanislav Kulazhnikov.
Opening the event, Deputy Director of the branch for sale and development of services Andrey Zhydenko stressed: "The meetings with the heads and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses on the grid connection have been held by the branch not for the first year. During the dialogue the parties have an opportunity to get answers to specific questions, to find out the possibility of connection to the power grid in each case, to learn about each stage of the grid connection from filing of an application and to signing of the completion certificate."
The head of the grid connection office Sergey Lapin said about the grid connection results of the branch for the past year - Smolensk power engineers provided new customers with 96.8 MW and performed 4,469 grid connection contracts, including 56 connected facilities of small and medium-sized businesses. The head of the customer interaction office Alexander Wojciechowski gave details on how to apply for the grid connection and the service "Grid connection support", through which the client receives the entire range of work from documenting to actual connection of a facility to the grid. This service only in 2016 was used by about 2.5 thousand customers.
