Demand for Smolenskenergo’s service "Grid connection support" in the past year tripled

In 2016 IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division rendered individuals and legal entities about 16 thousand value-added services. At the same time, the leaders in popularity were the services for installation or replacement of metering devices and the service "Execution of work related to the customer’s competence in the grid connection procedure implementation" ("Grid connection support").

The number of requests to perform activities related to the competence of customers in the grid connection procedure implementation tripled (to 2.5 thousand). At the same time, individuals with capacity up to 15 kW took advantage of this service 5 times more often. The purpose of the project to develop the service "Grid connection support" is the creation of favourable conditions for small and medium-sized businesses. The service is provided on the "single window" principle, where the customer receives the entire range of work from documents processing to actual connection of the facility to the grid. According to feedback from customers it saves not only time but also money.
