Tambovenergo approved its repair program for 2017

IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division approved its repair program for 2017. As part of its implementation the company will perform a lot of activities aimed at improving the reliability of power supply of industrial enterprises, agro-industrial facilities, the residential sector and the social sphere. In total, 149.2 million rubles will be spent on these goals.

Tambovenergo plans to start major repair work in April. By the end of the year specialists of the branch will have repaired more than 763 kilometres of overhead lines of 0.4-110 kV, 134 transformer substations; performed comprehensive renovation of four substations of 35-110 kV. Work will take place, including, at important power facilities that provide power supply of social infrastructure: the overhead lines of 110 kV "Kotovskaya CHP-2-Tambov №4 II circuit with taps", "Rasskazovskaya-Sosedka with taps", on the lines of 35 kV "Tambov №2 -Bokinskaya with a tap at the Substation Suburban", "Gorelskaya", which in total provide electricity to 34 settlements and 16,131 people, 8 hospitals and 11 schools.

Much attention in the framework of the repair program will be also given to clearing ROWs of power lines from trees and shrubs, which is conducted for prevention of failures. During the year employees of the branch will clear more than 469 hectares of ROWs along overhead power lines.

"Quality performance of the repair campaign allows to reduce the possibility of an emergency during autumn-winter peak loads and ensure the reliability of electricity supply to consumers in the cold season," stressed First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division Igor Polyakov.
