IDGC of Centre – Lipetskenergo division held the Safety Day.
The focus of the review commission, which consisted of technical experts of the branch, was paid to the timeliness and quality of the recent briefings devoted to the observance of safety. To do this, specialists carried out a sampling check of reporting documents, as well as verified proper processing of the operating log of talks of operators.
In addition, the question regarding the existence and compliance with staff examination schedules was under special control. The need for such a test is due to the fact that to perform certain types of work it is allowed only for employees who have been trained and tested knowledge of industry standards relating to occupational safety regulations in the electric power sector.
"The Safety Day is the most important event, which contributes to the level of compliance with the rules of occupational safety and the prevention of occupational injuries, the improvement of labour protection and the prevention of possible risks," commented Deputy Chief Engineer - Head of Occupational Safety and Production Control of "Lipetskenergo" Maxim Yashin.
