The winner of the first competition of professional skills of drivers of IDGC of Centre – Lipetskenergo division was the team from Terbunsky Distribution Zone, second place went to representatives of Zadonsky Distribution Zone, and representatives of Stanovlyansky Distribution Zone received bronze.
The competition consisted of 6 stages, which included verification of the theoretical knowledge, assessment of practical driving skills as well as skills in first aid.
In the theoretical section participants demonstrated knowledge of traffic rules and were tested with the software for computer-aided training and certification of employees "ASOP-Expert". The teams showed practical driving skills both with passenger and freight vehicles. The final test for the contestants was replacement of a vehicle wheel, where the main criterion was the observance of the technical norms and rules of safety.
"Such competitions were held in our branch for the first time, therefore, for each participant it was a good opportunity to demonstrate his skills and share experiences with colleagues. Throughout all the stages of the competition in the ranks of the teams there was competitive spirit and will to win. Summarizing, we can say with confidence that the professionalism of our drivers is at a high level, because all the participants showed good results," commented the deputy chief engineer-the head of the production safety and industrial control office Maxim Yashin.
