High school students from Trosnyansky secondary school had a tour of Trosnyansky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division. The event was organized as part of the company’s career guidance among pupils and students in the region.
Power engineers told the young people how electricity is generated and supplied to consumers, introduced them to the rules of safe behaviour at power facilities. The schoolchildren visited the substation "Trosna" - the largest centre of power in Trosnyansky district, where they were told about the functional duties of operating personnel and demonstrated work of electrical equipment.
IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division does career guidance in a system way. Power engineers of production subdivisions of the branch meet regularly with children and teachers in preschool and educational institutions, and organize tours for them, where they speak about their work and electrical safety regulations. Next such event will take place in Trosnyansky Distribution Zone soon, its employees will hold a meeting with pupils of the centre for psychological, medical and social support to minors.
