Veterans of "Lipetskenergo" were congratulated on their professional holiday

On the eve of the professional holiday - the Power Engineers’ Day IDGC of Centre – Lipetskenergo division held a solemn meeting, which was attended by more than 70 veterans of the energy industry, the company’s management and employees.

Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Lipetskenergo division director Alexander Glebov in his welcoming speech warmly congratulated all those present on the occasion, spoke about the results and achievements of the outgoing year, stressed that he was happy to work in a team of true professionals.

The head of the HR department Katerina Mushnikova personnel joined his congratulations and thanked the veterans for many years of conscientious work.

In response, the veterans expressed gratitude to the leadership for the preservation of good traditions, and attention to those who stood at the birth of the power grid of the region, took an active part in the implementation of the country’s electrification plan, and remembered those who are no longer around. A touching poem was performed by the author Emilia Pavlova in memory of the departed.

A gift for the veterans was a concert organized by the branch specialists. On this day they heard songs, poems and emotional congratulations. The festive program also included contests in which the veterans actively participated, winners received prizes and gifts.

A special congratulation was a colourful slide film on the work and achievements of Lipetskenergo in recent years. Young professionals noted that they learned skills in solving a wide variety of production tasks from the veterans and thanked for the stability in the present and confidence in the future.

Lipetskenergo pays particular attention to succession of generations and preservation of experience as one of the factors, aimed at further improving the efficiency of the Company’s operations.
