Kurskenergo received letters of thanks for the promotion of energy-saving lifestyle

In the name of the management of IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division letters of thanks were received from the teaching staff of secondary schools of Sovietsky, Belovsky, Ponyrovsky and Kursky districts of the Kursk region.

The documents express gratitude to the management and employees of the branch for organizing and conducting classes on energy saving, the original approach to the lessons.

Lessons on energy saving, which are carried out by the power company in the region’s schools, are one of the key areas of Kurskenergo’s system work for teaching schoolchildren the basics of rational use of energy resources. During the sessions experts of the branch address questions related to lean energy use, talk about modern energy-saving technologies and simple rules of behaviour that contribute to energy savings.

Kurskenergo’s specialists developed a quiz on energy saving for schoolchildren. On an interactive panel children test their knowledge by choosing answers to questions related to energy saving.

Since the beginning of 2016 Kurskenergo’s specialists have held in educational institutions in the region a total of 64 classes on energy saving. Another 12 lessons are planned to be conducted for the end of this year.
