Power engineers of Tverenergo promptly respond to emerging power outages

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division are eliminating effects of a heavy snowfall, which is still going to the north of the Tver region.

At the moment, emergency repair work has been completed in Ostashkovsky, Toropetsky and Sandovsky districts of the region, where the snowfall was in the morning. Several villages were in the area of ​​local blackouts, all of them were energized with the normal power supply circuit by the end of the day. In these districts 9 crews of power engineers of Tverenergo were used with special vehicles and tools.

In Bologovsky district, where the heavy rainfall is continuing, the operational situation is more complicated. 6 first responding and restoration crews of Bologovsky Distribution Zone with a total of 26 professionals are eliminating process failures there. The district has several de-energized settlements, all of them are under control of the power company. Social facilities in the area of ​​local outages (a boiler’s house and a kindergarten in the village of Lukoshino) are powered by backup power supply sources of Tverenergo.
