IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division held the professional skills competition among drivers. 33 employees of the service for mechanization and transport from all Distribution Zones of the enterprise competed for the title "Best driver of the branch".
They demonstrated their skills and mastery in three stages. At the theoretical stage drivers’ knowledge of traffic rules, the Code of Administrative Offences, specifications and technical documentation of work and fire safety was tested. The practical part of the competitions consisted of first aid to victims of road accidents by CPR on a simulator and high-speed maneuvering on a practice ground. At each stage the judges evaluated the level of professional knowledge, as well as the speed and accuracy of performance of tasks.
At the end of the event the best in the profession was a driver of the Voronezh section of the service for mechanization and transport Igor Zhukov. The second place went to Ivan Ivanovskiy from Petropavlovsky district, and the third place to a driver of the Anninsky section Alexander Laptev. The winners received certificates and gifts.
According to First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division Vyacheslav Antonov, carrying out professional skills competitions is one of the most important stage of staff testing and training. "Such actions allow not only to determine the best in the profession. The branch without fail performs analysis of results of such reviews, develops and implements measures to improve the quality of staff training," stressed Vyacheslav Antonov.
