IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division completed the XVII Corporate Sports Games. 114 employees of the company as part of the teams of the Central, Western, Eastern, Southern, Northern sections and the executive office of the branch competed for the title of the best in volleyball, football, table tennis, weightlifting and chess.
The competition was hard. In one of the most popular sports - mini football - the first place went to the team of the Central section. The second and third places went to employees of the executive office and the Western section. In volleyball the ranking is as follows: the first place went to the team of the executive office, "silver" - to power engineers of the Western section, "bronze" - their colleagues from the Eastern section.
In the individual competition the best in chess among men was the head of the department of industrial inspection Mikhail Loktionov. Among women the first result was showed by a calculation engineer of category 1 of the Eastern section for relay protection and emergency automation Valentina Shvedova. Valentina became a two-time champion of the Sports Games, winning also in the tennis tournament. Among men there was no equal competitor to an engineer of the electricity metering office of category 1 Sergey Bashkanov.
Deputy Chief of Belovsky Distribution Zone for sale of services Gennady Anokhin for a third consecutive year won the weightlifters’ competitions.
The winner in the overall standings was determined taking into account the results of the past in June track and field events. There, please, be reminded, the winners were athletes of the Central section, and the teams of the Northern and Western sections were the second and third. As a result, based on the total amount of points the first team place at the Sports Games went to the power engineers of the executive office of Kurskenergo. Second place – to the representatives of the Central section, and the third – to the team of the Southern section.
An electrician for testing and measurement of a crew for diagnostics of electric equipment from Fatezhsky Distribution Zone Artem Anpilogov was distinguished by the trade union committee of Kurskenergo with a diploma in the special category "Discovery of the Year". Artem for the first time this year participated in corporate competitions at various levels and in different sporting events - and quite successfully. For example, making his debut in the summer athletics competitions of Kurskenergo, he showed the best time in the 100 metres race.
Presenting the winners with awards and trophies, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky thanked all the participants for the competition full of excitement and vivid impressions: "This corporate sports festival brought colleagues together and showed that not just excellent professionals and highly trained specialists work in the energy sector, but also physically healthy, strong and motivated people for whom the most complicated tasks are within their scope of abilities."
