IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division summed up the work on connection of customers to power grids for 9 months of 2016.
During this period the branch received 2,408 requests for grid connection. It concluded 1,989 contracts, 1,654 contracts were executed. Total capacity of connected power installations to the grid was 40.68 MW.
The largest applicants for the grid connection service included working in the region agro-industrial enterprises: a construction site of a slaughterhouse with a capacity of 2,000 kW in Zheleznogorsky district and two cattle-breeding facilities with a capacity of 500 kW each in Dmitrievsky district of LLC "Agropromkomplektatsiya - Kursk" and a mini-meat-processing plant with a capacity of 560 kW of LLC "Pselskoye" in Belovsky district of the Kursk region. In Bolshesoldatsky district a slaughterhouse and a line of sunflower and lupine processing with a total capacity of 1,260 kW of a major agricultural enterprise of the region LLC "Nadezhda" were connected to Kurskenergo’s grids. 332 kW of power was supplied to a workers’ settlement under construction for LLC "Nadezhda" in Sudzhansky district. Currently Kurskenergo has already connected 46 houses, where workers of the agricultural enterprise live.
In addition, the branch staff connected to the power grid a construction site of a substitution station of Kursk NPP-2 (4,200 kW), JSC "Kursk plant of medical glass" (1,200 kW), a workshop for vegetable oil production of LLC "HELIOS" (260 kW), an elevator of LLC "Russian barley" in Medvensky district of the Kursk region (2,000 kW), as well as a number of major social projects in the region. Among them there is Zhernovetskaya Secondary School in Zolotukhinsky district. Maximum connected capacity of the facility is 320 kW. At present, specialists of the branch continue to work on grid connection of a general education school for 700 pupils on Victory Avenue in the city of Kursk, a general education secondary school, being built in the settlement of Medvenka and four fitness centres in Lgovsky, Glushkovsky, Rylsky and Belovsky districts. Their total connected capacity is 2.4 MW. In the city of Kurchatov five apartment buildings were connected to the networks, which are being built in the framework of the federal target program "Housing for Russian family". The capacity of the residential facilities will be 1.368 MW.
Proceeds received for connection to the networks of the branch, the power company uses for construction of electric grid facilities, enabling power supply to connected customers.
