IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division held a round table within the third Entrepreneur’s Day in 2016. The event is held on a quarterly basis and is designed for an open dialogue of power engineers and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses on connection of facilities to electric grids of the branch.
Representatives of LLC "Art Logistics", LLC "Specialist", LLC "Torzhok", LLC "Energotekhnicheskaya Company" were invited to the meeting. At the event Smolenskenergo was represented by the head of customer interactions Alexander Wojciechowski, the head of grid connections Sergey Lapin and representatives of the capital construction office of the branch.
The roundtable participants discussed issues that are faced in the framework of the implementation of grid connection contracts by both businessmen and representatives of the grid company. During the conversation the power engineers answered questions of participants of the "round table", told about the prospects of increasing the availability of connection of legal entities to electric grids of the company. Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses interested in a simplified procedure for connection to electric grids of low-power installations. The power engineers also told about the value-added services provided, including information about the services "Grid connection support", installation and replacement of metering devices, which are currently in high demand.
The specialists noted that only for 8 months of 2016 Smolensk power engineers executed 21 grid connection contracts of small and medium-sized businesses with a maximum capacity of connection from 15 to 150 kW. The largest connected facility was a dairy module of LLC "Reson" with its capacity of 149 kW.
The practice of holding such "round tables" will be continued, since such meetings allow consumers to receive relevant information associated with connection to the electricity grid. The fourth entrepreneur’s day this year is scheduled to take place in October.
