Orelenergo took part in the All-Russian civil defense training

4-7 October IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division took part in the All-Russian staff training organized by EMERCOM of Russia "Organization of the implementation of civil defense in the conditions of large-scale emergency situations of natural and man-made disasters on the territory of the Russian Federation". During the training there was a review of availability of emergency and rescue services and units to carry out activities of civil defense, worked out the receipt and transmission of training signals under the established procedure and exchange of information on civil defense. In the Orel region it was under the guidance of the regional office of the agency, its participants were the executive authorities and civil defense forces.

Orelenergo fulfilled all organizational instructions for interacting with General Directorate of EMERCOM in the Orel region, duty and dispatch services of executive bodies of the subject and municipal entities. "At the end of the exercises the training goals set for Orelenergo were fully achieved - the organizers praised the skills of power engineers, recognizing the branch being ready to carry out activities of civil defense and necessary actions in an emergency situation," stressed the head of the department of mobilization preparation and civil defense of Orelenergo Alexander Filippov.

The All-Russian civil defense training was carried out to work out organization of management in the performance of civil defense activities, prevention and elimination of emergencies and fires. More than 40 million people, over 200 thousand specialists of emergency and rescue units of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, organizations and enterprises, as well as about 50 thousand vehicles participated in it.
