IDGC of Centre – Lipetskenergo division took part in the first stage of the All-Russian training of civil defense on the topic: "Organization of implementation of civil defense events in the conditions of large-scale emergency situations of natural and man-made disasters on the territory of the Russian Federation". Along with other participants of the event, including the federal and regional executive authorities, organizations and rescue services of the Lipetsk region, the power company worked out the basic elements of civil defense. The main of them were – the organization of management to perform civil defense measures due to threat of a disaster and fires in Russia, the deployment of a civil defense control system at various levels of government and organizations.
In addition to organizational activities, the first phase included a review of civil defense forces, which took place on the Lenin - Cathedral square in the city of Lipetsk. At the review "Lipetskenergo" was represented by staff of operating mobile crews with involvement of an all-terrain comfortable crew vehicle UAZ-390995, personnel of a first responding and restoration crew with a "Kamaz Watch" 43114 vehicle, equipped with a heating system, comfortable compartments for the life of personnel and transportation of necessary means, materials and appliances, as well as an aerial platform APT - 28 on KAMAZ 43114, ensuring safe work at heights up to 28 metres. The advantages of the presented vehicles include availability of a GLONASS navigation system, providing optimization of transport logistics.
In the second phase of the training participants will practice skills for planning and organizing the implementation of civil defense activities. The power engineers will deploy forces in the territory of Griazinsky district. In order to share experience, they will participate in some activities to manage civil defense event.
The third stage involves checking actions of management bodies and forces of civil defense while eliminating large-scale emergencies and fires.
Results of the training, which will last 4 days, will be announced on a conference call led by Minister of EMERCOM of Russia in the mode of video conferencing with a mobile control point of the head of the regional administration.
