IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division celebrated the International Day of Older Persons. In Distribution Zones of the branch there were real celebrations for veterans working there with warm and kind words of gratitude, drinking a cup of tea, souvenirs and a concert program, prepared by staff. Members of the older generation, who devoted much of their life, to working in the Tambov power system, were able to communicate with colleagues and friends, to remember everyday work and professional achievements.
IDGC of Centre pays great attention to the social support of former employees of the company. Celebrations, trips to the regional centre museums are organized for them. Tambovenergo’s employees visit war veterans at home and home front workers, congratulate veterans of energy on anniversary dates.
"The Day of Older Persons in Tambovenergo is a celebration of respect and kindness. The administration of the company does not forget employees, who are retired, providing them with necessary assistance and support. It is gratifying to realize that the new generation appreciates our contribution to the development of the Tambov power system," stresses Anatoly Istomin, Honoured Power Engineer of Russia, who for more than ten years ran the company, and now heads the Veterans’ Council of Tambovenergo.
