Bryanskenergo continues to work on prevention of children’s electric injuries

04.10.2016

IDGC of Centre – Bryanskenergo division in the coming school year continues to actively work to prevent cases of children’s electric injuries.

To solve this problem, the branch’s specialists implement a whole range of appropriate preventive measures. One of the most important is electrical safety lessons that power engineers conduct in all districts of the Bryansk region. Since the beginning of the school year more than 30 of these lessons took place in the region’s schools. On regional television and radio stations Bryanskenergo organized broadcasting of video and audio clips on the theme "Electricity – a friend, if you observe the safety rules".

The company’s employees participate in city events, aimed at promoting safe behaviour rules. So, on 2 September in the Central Park of Culture and Rest named after the 1,000th anniversary of the city of Bryansk there was a city lesson on safety, during which representatives of Bryanskenergo told schoolchildren of the city on the rules of electrical safety, showed them the rules of first aid to the victim with electric shock on a training dummy "Gosha". And on 10 September in the framework of the regional stage of the energy saving festival "#Vmesteyarche" held in the regional centre they conducted a series of group sessions on energy efficiency and electrical safety for children, at which they taught them the rules of safe handling of electrical appliances and the rational use of electricity.

The branch’s staff always respond to requests for training on electrical safety. Heads of pre-school and educational institutions of the Bryansk region can submit corresponding applications on the site IDGC of Centre following the link at https://www.mrsk-1.ru/about/projects/safety/.
