In the Tambov region a four-day District gathering of search groups of the Central Federal District (CFD) "Keeping memory of the heroes" completed. The event was held at the Centre for Art and Recreation "Cosmos" in Tambov district, and it was attended by more than 150 search groups from all regions of Central Russia. Among them - the deputy chief for sale of services of Kirsanovsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division Sergey Kolychev, who entered the number of speakers of the round table on issues of patriotic education of the youth. In his speech he shared with the participants of the gathering his experience of many years of research to perpetuate the memory of pilots of war veterans who died while on duty in the territory of Kirsanovsky district of the Tambov region.
Sergey Kolychev, himself a former military pilot, for many years in his spare time has been engaged in search activity. Thanks to the cooperation with the Central Military Archives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Tambov regional archives, he has already been able to identify names of more than twenty fallen pilots. At the initiative of Sergey Kolychev and with the support of Tambovenergo’s team monuments to the fallen pilots were installed in the village of Podvigalovka of Kirsanovsky district and in the military cemetery in the city of Kirsanov.
The search activity of the power engineer received high estimation of search organizations. "Search for names of fallen soldiers is difficult and responsible work. It requires serious analysis of historical sources, restoration of the chronology of events. Often, it takes many years. The work, which has been done by Sergey Kolychev to perpetuate the names of the fallen, deserves a lot of respect," stressed the chairman of the Tambov regional branch of the All-Russian Public Movement "Search movement of Russia" Elena Valatina.
The District gathering of search groups of the CFD was organized by the Tambov regional branch of the All-Russian Public Movement "Search movement of Russia" and the administration of the Tambov region in the framework of the state program "Patriotic Education of Citizens of the Russian Federation for 2016-2020" and the state program of the Tambov region "Development of civil society institutions for 2014-2020". The best practices of search work of search groups of the CFD were presented at it. The gathering program included practical training and lectures on the basics of search work, workshops on designing museum exhibitions, military and sports games, round tables on issues of patriotic education of the youth.
