IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division received the Certificate of Readiness for the autumn-winter operation period of 2016-2017. The document in a festive atmosphere was handed to the enterprise’s director Ivan Kleymenov by Deputy Chief Engineer for Development and Innovation of the company Dmitry Rybnikov.
The availability of Voronezhenergo was confirmed by a check, conducted by a special interdepartmental commission composed of representatives of the Government of the Voronezh region, the territorial offices of Rostekhnadzor, EMERCOM of Russia, JSC "System Operator of Unified Energy System", as well as the regional technical supervision centre of PJSC "Rosseti" and the executive office of IDGC of Centre.
In preparation for the autumn-winter operation period Voronezhenergo’s experts performed more than 1,200 technical and organizational measures (including those prescribed by Rostekhnadzor and the interdepartmental commission). In order to ensure reliable power supply to consumers they performed comprehensive repair of 7 substations of 35-110 kV, overhauled 455 package transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV, repaired more than 1,160 km of power lines of 0.4-110 kV. They cleared 1,035 hectares and expanded more than 200 hectares of ROWs along power lines.
During the year the Voronezh branch of IDGC of Centre held more than 60 emergency drills aimed at practicing emergency response typical for work under adverse weather conditions, including with participation of representatives of the regional office of EMERCOM of Russia. Voronezhenergo’ crews are equipped with all necessary gear, tools, appliances, reliable means of communication and are ready to eliminate possible technological failures during cold weather. All structural units of the branch are fully supplied with an emergency stock of materials and equipment.
"Voronezhenergo is one of the largest branches of IDGC of Centre, and the only one in whose area of responsibility there is the city with one million residents. Therefore, verification of readiness for the autumn-winter operation period is carried out by commissions with great care. And to the company’s honour from year to year it does not give rise to unfavourable criticism," stresses Deputy Chief Engineer for Development and Innovation of IDGC of Centre Dmitry Rybnikov.
