07.09.2016

Specialists of IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division participated in the regional stage of the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving "Together brighter", held in Kursk 3 September.

In front of the Regional Palace of Youth major energy companies in the region set up their exhibition booths, introduced advanced technologies and equipment for the efficient use and saving of energy. One of the most visited was the exhibition of Kurskenergo. The company’s staff informed visitors about how to reduce electric energy consumption at home, observing some simple rules, what advantages they have by installing dual-rate meters and purchasing household appliances with an energy efficiency class of not below "A". On the installed interactive panel at the booth of Kurskenergo, anyone could test his or her knowledge in the field of energy conservation, answering quiz questions.

The branch employees prepared a special program for children: it included aqua makeup design and a drawing competition on the asphalt on the topic of energy saving. While some children were happy to expose their cheeks and hands for bright pictures of lightning or light bulbs, others themselves diligently drew with crayons homes with luminous windows, energy saving light bulbs and wind generators. Absolutely all the young artists received keepsake gifts, and useful brochures with the basic principles of energy conservation and electrical safety in the home.

Kurskenergo’s staff took part in the concert program of the event. Winners of the recently held review-competition of amateur arts of IDGC of Centre performed on the main stage of the festival.

The festival program of Kurskenergo was highly appreciated by its organizers. "The exhibition of the enterprise was the most informative and entertaining for all audiences. Enthusiastic employees of Kurskenergo, their interest in the topic and active participation in key events of the festival largely contributed to the fact that it was held at a high level, becoming a real family holiday," stressed Deputy Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Demin.
