In connection with holding the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #VmesteYarche IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division helped realize the artistic design of the festival organizers and provided a power grid facility for painting art graffiti on the theme of energy conservation.
A street art artist Victor Joker needed one day to transfer the sketch onto the wall of the 35/10 kV Substation Kaposhvar in Tver. The art graffiti shows the basic idea of energy conservation - the use of alternative sources of energy and respect for the environment.
All the art works were carried out in strict compliance with safety regulations, to avoid the possibility of injury to the artist, as well as electric grid equipment damage.
It is worth noting that the 35/10 kV Substation Kaposhvar was chosen not without reason for the art graffiti painting on the theme of energy saving. It is located in the city centre and is easily visible from one of the main thoroughfares of Tver - Spartak Street.
Please, be reminded that the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #VmesteYarche will take place on 3 September at the City Park of the regional centre with the support of the Government of the Tver region. IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division organizes its thematic area, where drawing contests, lessons on energy saving will be held, creates its colourful photo zone. In addition, throughout the day for guests of the festival a video will be broadcast, aimed at promoting the rational use of energy resources in the home, provided by IDGC of Centre.
The festival program involves more surprises for Tver residents. In the City Park there will be a booth "Together brighter", where guests will be able to sign their petition and a personal declaration of intention to use energy resources carefully. Here used fluorescent lamps will be taken for recycling, and a charity donation of LED lamps will be organized to be given to low-income families. For children and young people throughout the day a variety of information and play activities is planned, contests and a flash-mob "LED Wave", which will complete the program of the festival #VmesteYarche.
